Exploring nuance in European travel management practice

Business travel management practices in Europe are more similar to one another than ever, but cultural and regulatory differences continue to present challenges to companies seeking to manage travel spending across region. New BTN research reflects on how travel management is practiced in eight key marketes.

BTN surveyed 110 of Amadeus' global corporate contacts in order to better understand the corporate travel market, its dynamics, and how the industry is evolving.

The study incorporates respondents from Germany, the United Kingdom, France, Russia, Sweden, and The Netherlands with an emphasis on understanding and predicting business travel infrastructure, expenditures and technology use, and the use of travel management best practices.

Additionally, the study identifies the commonalities and differences of European corporate travel buyer programs in addition to policies and supplier interactions by country, including legal, cultural, technological and other factors.
