Reed cancels Business Travel Market London

Reed Exhibitions has cancelled the 2013 edition of Business Travel Market, due to run during World Travel Market in November at Excel. Due to tough economic conditions putting pressure on customers’ spend and time, Reed felt it was not possible to deliver an event that would do justice to both the industry and our customers.

The organiser has issued a statement that says following “consultation with the industry”, it has decided to cancel the show.

“Due to tough economic conditions putting pressure on customers’ spend and time, we felt it was not possible to deliver an event that would do justice to both the industry and our customers,” said the statement.

“We thank all our customers and event partners for their valued support of the Business Travel Market.”

World Travel Market will celebrate its 34th year, involving 48,000 senior travel industry professionals, government ministers and international press.
