Sabre Hospitality and Worldhotels go live on Room Key

Sabre's SynXis CRS is the first CRS to go live on Room Key, adding 18'000 hotels to Room Key's portfolio of hotels. Worldhotels adds another 500 Room Key, especially strengthening its portfolio in Asia Pacific and Europe.
Room Key now has access to real-time rates and availability for participating hotels in Sabre's SynXis Central Reservations System. The implementation of this partnership gives SynXis CRS hotel partners a new way to drive unique traffic and bookings to their hotel's own website.
"Our customers have asked us to help facilitate and strengthen their overall consumer distribution strategy, and this new relationship with Room Key addresses that exact need," said Felix Laboy, president of Sabre Hospitality Solutions. "Last week we completed the first implementations with several of our large SynXis CRS customers and it was flawless. The connection is now available to all of our CRS properties who want to participate."

Worldhotels
Worldhotels’ direct bookings have gone live with online hotel search engine giant Room Key with almost 500 of its independent hotels. An agreement signed in March means that Room Key is gaining more then 100,000 rooms in key destinations, especially strengthening its portfolio in Asia Pacific and Europe. The interface between Worldhotels’ sister company Trust International’s CRS yourVoyager and the Roomkey.com site went live last week.
Worldhotels managing director Robert Horman said: “We are thrilled to be the first European-based independent hotel group to be bookable via Room Key.
