Expedia loses hotel rate parity case in France

Travel management company BCD Travel has acquired Travelocity Business, Travelocity’s corporate travel agency. The deal is seen as part of Sabre's run up to a public offering.
Travelocity Business, widely known as TBiz, will continue serving clients under the TBiz brand. BCD Travel said the TBiz team brings “creative talents” to the company, “further paving the way for expanded innovation for clients.”
BCD Travel plans to offer TBiz clients access to its global network and its services in travel program consolidation, business analytics and consulting, and meetings.
Travelocity Business is part of Sabre's Travelocity Global, which separately Tuesday announced the sale of its Holiday Autos brand to CarTrawler.
