Leading British hotel group, PH Hotels, has partnered with SiteMinder’s global distribution platform to expand online visibility and lift its share of web-based bookings.
Head of Distribution for Principal Hayley, Andreas Maszczyk, said: “SiteMinder’s integration has provided a significant step forward both in our booking channel and reservations delivery. With a robust and stable platform in place, we’re seeing efficiencies in our booking process even within the short time we have worked with SiteMinder.”
Owned by Starwood Capital Group, one of the world’s largest real estate investment funds, PH Hotels runs 22 prestigious hotels, country estates and conference venues across England, Wales and Scotland together with a château in France.
Head of Sales for SiteMinder in the UK and Ireland, Bernhard Ballin, said PH Hotels had chosen SiteMinder’s integrated channel management solution to connect its Opera reservation system with the world’s highest-yielding booking websites to bolster online revenue opportunities and distribution efficiencies.
“As a prominent and innovative hotel group, PH Hotels has launched a forward-thinking distribution and financial strategy, which accepts that a streamlined and integrated distribution system is not the future but the reality of competitive, hard-nosed, here-and-now marketing,” Mr Ballin said.
SiteMinder’s Channel Manager offers PH Hotels a two-way, cloud-based connectivity exchange between the group’s various hotels and its CRS (central reservation system) and the world’s leading online booking sites.
“Everything today is about return on investment and our flat monthly fee model helps hotel groups like Principal Hayley cut the costs of getting rooms to market.” Mr Ballin said.
